The Show

The Show is the in-universe framing for Last Flag's gameplay. It is a televised competition where contestants compete in capture-the-flag battles across designed arenas. Every match is a broadcast episode.

Created and hosted by Victor Fex, The Show has a curated, produced feel. The arenas look like natural environments but advertisements are placed everywhere. In-game ads appear after 120s, then every 90s with a 30s snooze option, fitting the broadcast theme.

Players take on the role of Contestants - individuals from around the world who joined The Show for their own reasons. The game features 9 playable contestants: Knives (South Korean), Lumberjack (Finnish), Bounty Hunter (American), Scout (American), Arsenal (Brazilian), Banshee (Japanese), Roadie, Skyfire and Tango (Alejandro).

The Show presents itself as entertainment, but lore hints suggest there is more going on behind the scenes. Victor Fex's motivations and the real purpose of The Show are open questions.
