Every character in Last Flag has an ultimate ability requiring 600 points to activate. Points accumulate through actions: downing an enemy earns +75, stealing the flag +100, returning your flag +125 (highest single action) and each damage point dealt adds 0.2 points. A small passive trickle (+5 per tick) is configured but currently marked as not hooked up in the game data. UltimateBoost power-up increases charge rate by 50% for 60 seconds.

Ultimate points are earned from:
- Passive: +5 points per tick (configured but marked as not hooked up in game data)
- Down Enemy: +75 points
- Capture Control Point: +50 points
- Killed by Enemy: +25 points (consolation)
- Resurrect Teammate: +100 points
- Steal Enemy Flag: +100 points
- Return Own Flag: +125 points (highest single action)
- Down Enemy Flag Carrier: +50 points
- Execute Enemy: +10 points
- Kill Streak: +5 points per kill in streak
- Damage Dealt: +0.2 points per damage

Ultimate Strategy
- Returning your own flag (+125 pts) is the highest single-action point gain.
- The UltimateBoost power-up grants +50% charge rate for 60 seconds.
- Damage dealt gives +0.2 pts per damage. Characters with high sustained damage (Tango, Scout) benefit from this.
- Passive trickle (+5/tick) is configured but currently not wired up in the game data, so active play is what actually charges your ultimate.
