Overview
The Flamethrower is Skyfire's primary weapon with a unique three-stage heat system. Base damage is 5 per tick. At 20% heat, damage rises to 7/tick. At 40% heat, it peaks at 11/tick - more than double the base. Heat builds from sustained fire and Molten Chunk shots (+0.30 heat each). Overheating triggers a 1.5-second forced cooldown.

Two Molten Chunk shots (0.60 heat total) instantly reach Stage 3. Fire two chunks to build heat, then switch to flamethrower at 11 damage/tick. Watch the overheat threshold, the 1.5s cooldown leaves you unable to fire. Let heat decay between engagements.
