Overview
Lumberjack is the tankiest character in Last Flag with 290 HP, 45% more than the base 200. Real name Peter Mäkinen, Finnish. His melee combo system rewards aggressive play, and he can throw axes for ranged poke. His ultimate Forest Wrath heals him, buffs his damage and makes him extremely hard to put down. Commit to a position and let enemies come to you - once he's set up, good luck moving him.

Melee - Dual Axes: Full combo chain:- Light Attack: 45 damage (0.3s combo window)
- Heavy Attack: 60 damage (0.6s combo window)
- Combo Finisher: After 4 consecutive hits, the next attack deals 100 damage
Alt-Fire - Axe Throw: Ranged throw on a 0.75s cooldown. Thrown axes can be pulled back, dragging enemies toward Lumberjack. Pullback now breaks Roadie's Shield (added in 1.0.2).

Abilities
Dive Roll (Primary): Forward roll, 0.45s duration, cooldown 12s (all levels). Takes 40% less damage during the roll. Deals 10 impact damage in a 350 radius. Base impulse 4135, upgraded 5650. Level 3: adds knockup stun (impulse 500 → 900).
Grand Slam (Secondary): Overhead smash. Cooldown 15s (all levels). Deals 30 damage, plus 20 extra if the target hits a wall. Level 3: unlocks 360° swing.
Blinding Strike: Projectile that blinds the target for 5 seconds. Cooldown 13s, lowered to 10s from Level 2 on. Deals no direct damage. Level 3: upgraded projectile. Level 4: gains AoE (500 radius).
Forest Wrath (Ultimate): Lasts 15 seconds, internal cooldown 10s. Melee damage goes to 1.5x (Light: 67, Heavy: 90, Finisher: 150). Heals 50% HP on activation and another 100 HP when you drop below half. Includes a Leap attack (800 radius, 30 damage, 1200 knockback) with increased movement speed (1.0.2). 15% damage reduction baseline (increased from 5% in 1.0). Level 2: +20% movement speed. Level 3: damage reduction scales to 25% (increased from 15% in 1.0) and adds 25% life leech. Formerly called "Ancestral Spirits" in the Open Beta.

Strategy & Tips
- 290 HP + Forest Wrath heal makes him one of the best flag defenders. Park near the flag and dare people to fight you.
- Axe Throw pulls enemies in. Follow up with Light → Light → Light → Light → Finisher for 280 total damage.
- Blinding Strike → Grand Slam: blind them, then slam up to 3 m away into a wall for 30 + 20 = 50 damage while they can't react (1.0 increased Grand Slam reach).
- Melee attacks no longer briefly lock abilities in 1.0, so you can chain Axe Throw / Grand Slam / Blinding Strike between combo hits more fluidly.
- At Level 3, Forest Wrath gives 25% damage reduction + 25% life leech. Combined with the 50% HP heal on activation, you can turn around fights you should lose.
- He's slow to rotate - commit to your position and don't wander without Dive Roll off cooldown.
